2017 & 2018 Barton foundation grant recipient

In collaboration with the Boy's and Girl's Club of South Lake Tahoe, YELL Camp is a proud co-recipient of the 2018 Barton Foundation Grant. This grant award and generous staff, space, and equipment donations by SLT B&GC sponsored 10 local children to attend YELL camp without cost. We are grateful for the recognition and sponsorship and happy to be able to provide services to local youth!

At Yell Summer Camp, we use research backed techniques to develop three core areas of leadership through our sports league. We help children foster...

How

Our camp is set up like a sports league with each team consisting of between 5 and 8 children who are led by a "coach." 

Track

Campers and parents can track progress each day with our camper cards. At the end of camp, each participant gets to keep their own card as a celebration of their leadership growth.
